AI integration and automation
AI that does real work in your business
We connect AI and automation to the systems you already use: n8n workflows that move information correctly, AI agents that handle defined tasks, and people approving the steps that need judgement.

What we automate
Repetitive work, end to end
Typical starting points. Each is scoped around your process and tools.
Lead intake and routing
Enquiries from forms and email are captured once, checked, added to your CRM and routed to the right person.
Document processing
Fields extracted from invoices, forms and emails into your systems, with uncertain cases flagged for a person.
Drafted replies
Incoming messages sorted by type, with a suggested reply drafted for someone to check and send.
Automated reporting
Scheduled summaries pulled from several systems, delivered where your team already looks.
Business process automation
Map the process, then automate it
We start by mapping how the work happens today: who does what, in which system, and where it goes wrong. Then we automate the steps that are repetitive and well defined, keep people on the steps that need judgement, and measure the result.
- Process mapping before any build
- Error handling and alerts when a step fails
- Documentation and handover
- Changes made in small, reviewable steps
n8n workflow automation
Workflows you can see and change
We build primarily with n8n, an automation platform that can be self-hosted or run in the cloud. Workflows are visual, so your team can see what happens at each step, and they connect to hundreds of services and to any system with an API.
We design workflows with retries, logging and alerts, so a failure is noticed and fixed rather than silently losing data.
AI agent development
Agents that act within limits you set
An AI agent is a model that can use tools: look something up, update a record, draft a document. We give each agent a narrow job, only the tools and data that job needs, and an approval step before anything consequential happens. Actions are logged so you can review them.
AI integration services
AI inside the software you already have
We add AI features to existing websites, apps and internal tools: search and answers over your content, classification, summaries and assistants. We help you choose between cloud model providers and local models, and agree how data is handled before anything is built.
CRM integration and development
Your CRM, kept accurate without retyping
We connect the CRM you already use to your forms, email, calendar and reporting, so records are created and updated automatically. Where an off-the-shelf CRM does not fit how you work, we build focused custom tools around it.

Working with Legion
How a project runs
Small, useful steps first. Nothing is automated until you have seen it work.
- 01
Discovery
We map the process and agree what success looks like.
- 02
Proposal
Scope, approach, data handling and cost, in writing.
- 03
Build
Built in stages you can review, starting with the highest-value step.
- 04
Launch
Monitoring, documentation and a handover for your team.
- 05
Support
Optional ongoing support as your tools and processes change.
Projects are scoped through discovery. Focused automation work may begin in the low thousands of New Zealand dollars; larger systems need a larger budget. Ongoing support is optional.
Questions
Common questions
- Which automation tools do you use?
- We build primarily with n8n, which can be self-hosted, and connect other platforms through their APIs.
- Can AI make mistakes?
- Yes. Models can be wrong or inconsistent, so we design review steps, limits and logging around them, and keep people in charge of decisions that matter.
- Will automation replace our staff?
- The aim is to remove repetitive steps such as copying data between systems, so people spend their time on the work that needs them.
- Can you work with our existing CRM?
- Usually, yes, provided it offers an API or integrations. We confirm this during discovery.
- How long does a project take?
- It depends on the process and systems involved. We give you a staged plan after discovery rather than a promised date up front.
- Do you only work in Christchurch?
- Legion Algo Labs is based in Canterbury, New Zealand. We work with businesses in Christchurch, across New Zealand and internationally, mostly remotely.
